Our organization is assessing visitor access for our historic industrial/home sites. I am curious how others offer access?
Please reply with the following:
1. Specify if it is a historic industrial site (i.e. Flour Mill), historic home site or other (be specific)
2. How do you provide visitor access? (Guided tours, self-guided tours or other)
3. If you provide guided tours, how are the tours offered (i.e. every hour, appointment only, first come first serve etc)?
4. If you provide self-guided tours, how do you handle security and risk assessment?
5. If you provide both guided and self-guided tours, approximately what percentage of visitors choose which option?
6. Do you survey your visitors about their experience?
