Hello Everyone,
We are currently looking for information and resources on "Study Collections" held by museums. I was wondering if anyone had created a policy statement, or a description of how you care for, accession (if you do), track and use those pieces? Also, if in your use of a study collection, do you predominantly let individuals touch those pieces? Or are they accessioned as a regular new item? Lastly, what is the difference in the policy for accessioning to the Study Collection v. adding to an archive?
