Greetings all!
There has been a discussion about changing our Wentzscope slides from glass to plastic. I've been unable to find quality prepared plastic microscope slides and having looked into it I think I understand why. (Thank you to Carolina Biological's custom slide folks for taking the time to discuss the issue with me!) We can make laminated whole mounts of a variety of items, but as far as sections or thin botanicals it looks like we're out of luck.
As a last hope I'm throwing it out to the forum. Does anyone have any sources for quality prepared plastic slides, or a simple preparation method that would be suitable for a visitor-operated Wentzscope?
(Edited to add: We've been given this set, but they're not great.)
