Here are the Enhanced Cleaning Guidelines that we issued for our staff last Friday.
As an institution, we're following CDC and MN Dept. of Health guidelines and have cancelled/postponed some programs, transferred remaining MN History Day competitions to virtual judging, and are making plans for staff to work at home.

Hi everyone - Thanks for sharing your guidelines Paul. Here's some info regarding cleaning vitrines. We just ran into a problem at the History Center and are working on a solution.

We asked our plexi vendor what disinfecting cleaners are safe for vitrines. He talked to a product engineer and they told us not to use disinfecting cleaners (we asked specifically about 3M HB Quat). They recommended Clorox Healthcare Bleach Germicidal Wipes are safe for acrylic. As of last week it was unavailable. A diluted bleach solution might work but they assume it will cause crazing at the seams.

Our weekend cleaning crew mistakenly used HB Quat on vitrines and within a few days there was discoloration. Our cleaning staff are using Novus 2 to try and polish the stains out, with some success.
