Good afternoon!
Whenever we acquire new artworks for our collection, we make sure we get all appropriate provenance documents from the artist or gallery, including of course an invoice.
But our procurement department has been asking to see the “contract” we use for the purchase of artworks, even if our guidelines and policies don’t mention a contract.
Does anyone use a contract for the acquisition of artworks, and/or would mind sharing a template?
