    Please join us for the Faded Memories Symposium Series held in conjunction with the Faded Memories exhibition. This free three-part Zoom & Facebook Live series explores issues around mental health, well-being, memory loss, dementia, creative aging, art therapy, and the artificiality of constructed memory.

    • Saturday 8/14: A presentation by Faded Memories exhibition artist and art therapist Eric Dean Spruth and conversation with exhibition curator Lucas Livingston.
    • Monday, 8/16: Art Therapy, Creativity, and the Brain with School of the Art Institute of Chicago professor of art therapy Deb Del Signore.
    • Tuesday, 8/17: Director of IU's Traditional Arts Indiana Jon Kay discusses the creation of narrative-driven works of art and how these objects support the artists as they age, exploring stories, memories, and self-identity in everyday life.
