Hoping you find the following resources helpful:

Removing Barriers: Tips and Strategies to Promote Accessible Communication

By North Carolina Office on Disability and Health -- get PDF of doc, at URL, below

    https://fpg.unc.edu/sites/fpg.unc.edu/files/resources/other-resources/NCODH_PromoteAccessibleCommunication.pdf

Wellcome Collection in London, UK -- focuses on science and medicine; it is often called one of the most accessible museums in the world

Remember, also, that most operating systems have fairly robust tools to make your screens more accessible.  Here is the URL for Microsoft: Microsoft.com/en-us/accessibility. Because of these tools, websites often look the same, but have different configurations in the background!

The Association of Science and Technology Centers (ASTC) had a terrific project going years ago called Accessible Practices. ASTC might still have some of the documents they published, each on an aspect of museum operations.
