  • 1.  Looking for Co-Presenters - Training for a Diverse Audience

    Posted 09-07-2018 12:28 PM
I’m looking for co-presenters to talk about training front line staff and volunteers to greet the diverse audiences that we are all hoping to reach. This could include training to welcome museum novices, welcome the LGBT community, address racial bias, or a variety of other topics. Please let me know if you are interested.

    Hello and good morning!

My name is Natalia Carreno. I work at John G. Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, IL. I saw your posting and was hoping there was an opportunity to collaborate! I identify as nonbinary/genderfluid/queer and would definitely be interested in creating dialogue with you and others about what it means to honor different communities of folks in institutional settings.

    Let me know!
