  • 1.  Museum Digitization Survey

    Posted 08-14-2019 05:42 PM

    Hi everyone!

My colleague and I work in digital collections at the University of Wyoming and a lot of our work involves scanning for museums (both at our university and around the state). We recently had a proposal accepted to write a book chapter for the New Art Museum Library, in which we plan to look at the ways in which museums handle digitization.

As part of our research, we put together a short survey with questions about digitization methods and processes. If any of you have some time, we would love your input!

The survey is available here: https://survey.uwyo.edu/museumdigitization

We'll start analyzing results in mid-September. The chapter will be published sometime in the first half of 2020 (I can post more information about that as I have it).

Please feel free to share this with colleagues and mailing lists that reach museums and libraries.

If you have any questions or run into any issues, please let me know!

Thank you so much for your time,

    Sophie
