    Hello,

I am wondering who has Junior Docent Programs or Middle School Museum Partnerships? Looking for a variety of models and ideas!

    Hi!

The Children's Museum of Indianapolis offers a Museum Apprentice Program (MAP) for teens. I'm sure that the program has changed since I was a MAP participant in middle school, but I remember it being a great experience!

Please see my reply to school memberships.  We work with a local magnet school; high school seniors are some of our docents.

Hi! We are a science museum, not an art museum; but we have partnered with a middle school for over 20 years. Youth Teaching Youth Program participants meet weekly at their middle school to learn science content and communication skills. Accompanied by program staff, they go to district elementary schools to facilitate inquiry-based science lessons using authentic museum specimens.
