We are in the process of conducting inventory and would like a recommendation on a camera that works best with enterprise grade firewalls, for use with network storage. We would like to be able to transfer directly from the camera to a mapped drive on a laptop over WiFi. We have a Canon EOS 80D DSLR camera, but were unable to get it working and Canon Support was of no help providing detailed networking information.

Any assistance and or recommendations anyone has would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you,

    Hi Lydia,

we had a similar issue with wi-fi download not working, and we resolved it by purchasing a memory card reader that plugs into the computer. "Old style" technology works best in this case! You can find different types. Ours Is similar to this: EC Technology SD Card Reader Aluminum Superspeed USB 3.0 Multi-In-1 Card Reader for SD Card/CF Card/Micro SD Card and More for MacBook Pro Air, iMac, Mac Mini, Microsoft Surface Pro, Lenovo Yoga

    All best,
    Miriam
