I'm going to second all of Ann's suggestion--we use dust bunny cloths here as well and they work very well. For items that wouldn't work with that kind of thing (textiles, taxidermy, items with rough surfaces, etc) we also use a soft makeup brush and vacuum attachment. If there is worry of something like fringe getting sucked up, we will put a piece of cheesecloth over the vacuum hose to prevent things from getting sucked into the vacuum.
I hope you find something that works well for you!

Dust bunnies are great for surfaces that are finished and smooth such as glazed <g class="gr_ gr_84 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Punctuation only-del replaceWithoutSep" id="84" data-gr-id="84">china,</g> and finished tables. These clothes have an electrostatic charge that <g class="gr_ gr_249 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling ins-del" id="249" data-gr-id="249">pics</g> up almost all dust and keeps it on the cloth. Dust bunnies can also be washed and used again. For delicate items that are more porous using a soft brush and a vacuum is often a good option. Best Ann

Subject: Collection Dusters - Looking for Product Recommendation
Collections Colleagues,
I am looking for the best product, non-chemical and non-residue, to dust collections objects. We have a wide variety of stable wooden, ceramic, and metal objects that need regular dusting and I am looking for a product to help make this process easier. Not sure if anyone has a recommendation for a type of duster that locks in the dust that they have been happy with in the past. All recommendations are appreciated.
Regards,
