Join us Wednesday, November 17, 2:00 pm (EDT) for a Web Chat on practices that foster a more Inclusive volunteer program.

Our guest, Kia Hunter, Volunteer Manager for the International Spy Museum, has made volunteer inclusion her focus for the past several years. In the process, she has researched and implemented practices that allow a greater cross-section of the community to serve as volunteers.

In this short, 40-minute conversation, Kia will discuss her experiences in developing a more inclusive volunteer program. Knowing there is still much to learn and share, chat participants are encouraged to offer their own examples of successful inclusion practices.

    Among other things, we'll cover:
    - How to engage volunteers who may not have access to technology.
    - How to conduct outreach to the communities that you wish to engage.
    - How to determine that volunteers feel seen and heard.

This web chat includes plenty of time for Q&A. Managers of volunteer programs, visitor services, education, or any other department involved in volunteer engagement: this conversation will help you consider new approaches to volunteer inclusion and/or affirm your current practices.
