    Hi All,

Last year we launched quarterly tours for visitors who are blind or have low vision and visitors who are deaf. The tours are free and they are the only free scheduled tours we offer. Last night we had a tour for one of our exhibits in ASL and all of the people in attendance did not need the interpreter. I love that people want to come and learn in our museum but some of these tours have become so popular that we fill up and need to turn people away.

Has anyone had this issue with tours? If so, did you find a solution?

Here are the descriptions of the tours I wrote for our calendar and website:
American Sign Language Tour: This tour, led by a docent accompanied by an American Sign Language interpreter, gives visitors who are deaf an enhanced experience thought the X exhibition.
Descriptive Tour: This curator-led tour gives visitors who are blind or who have low vision a chance to explore the X exhibition through description of artifacts and touchables in the gallery.

    Thanks,
    Nicole
