    Dear All,

Feroza Verberne-Khurshid is currently undertaking field-research for a Masters in Preventive Conservation at Northumbria University. Parallel to this part-time study, she is presently working as project leader for the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam on a preventive conservation project.

The aim of her Masters research is to determine which aspects of preventive conservation should be included in legal agreements between museums and external parties and how they are monitored and managed.

Considering and gauging professional practices in other countries is part of this research and will determine whether museum practices differ essentially between countries and help identify best practice.

This questionnaire is aimed at professionals in the fields of collection management, collection care management, legal advisors within institutions, cultural heritage organizations, preventive conservation managers and all staff members who are responsible for the implementation of preventive conservation within cultural institutions.

The survey (https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/PXFJK6N) only concerns contracts and tenders for contracts where preventive conservation issues need to be included. The survey contains 40 questions, which are divided over four sections:
    - Information about yourself and the organization for which you work (14 questions)
    - Contracts with external parties (12 questions)
    - Tender for contracts (12 questions)
    - Recommendations (2 questions)

Obtaining feedback from the professional field is vital to the review process.
It would be greatly appreciated if you could take the time to complete the following survey.
It should take no longer than 20 minutes of your time.

Your responses are voluntary. They will not be identified, as all responses will be compiled and analyzed by country.

If you have any questions, concerns or would like to receive the results of the survey, please do not hesitate to contact Feroza directly at: verberne.khurshid@gmail.com.

Thank you for your participation in this survey. Your feedback is important.
