  • 1.  Post-Pandemic Resource Guide

    Posted 06-16-2020 12:57 AM
    Hi everyone,

Over the past few months, Perch Design Studio has been compiling a free pandemic toolkit for small museums, galleries, visitor centers, and other public spaces. It takes a lot of the information we have all been bombarded with during the pandemic, picks the best resources. and distills everything into a (relatively) approachable format.

The toolkit contains guidelines, inspiration, and resources for engaging audiences, building community, and creating digital experiences in the era of COVID-19 and beyond. It is totally free and not associated with any product or service. We hope that our friends in the museum community find it helpful!

    Check it out here: https://toolkit.perchmade.com

Take a look when you have a moment and let us know what you think. If there is anything else that would be helpful please let us know! The toolkit is a living document that will be changing as we learn more.

    Best,

    Don

    Dear All,

A group of professionals from the AIC and the AIHA (American Association of Industrial Hygiene) have come up with a guide for re-opening museums that can be found at: https://aiha-assets.sfo2.digitaloceanspaces.com/AIHA/resources/Reopening-Guidance-for-Museums-and-Collecting-Institutions_GuidanceDocument.pdf

This guide is part of the AIHA "Back to Work Safely" series; was constructed as a guidance document, rather than as one with prescriptive directions. Please take a look.

    Thank you and best wishes,
    Lisa
