    If your institution has done an on-line auction, perhaps as part of a gala, could you please contact me?

     

    We have a stakeholder who wants to auctioning items with the funds to go to a museum endowment.

    We have executed online auctioning of artwork bequeathed by an artist specifically (stated in his will) to benefit the museum.  Be careful about appearances, what you are selling and the terms.  Be sure the public knows why and what you are selling (NOT accessioned collections!).

    Yes, we are being very careful that we are not selling the collection, but like you artwork given by an artist to raise money.
