    We are working on a session proposal for the 2019 AAM Annual Meeting (New Orleans, May 2019) about outside funding for smaller museums with parent organizations.    These would include museums that are part of academic institutions and cultural/arts centers, as well as those that are funded by tribal or government entities. Sources of funding might include a separate friends group, grants, or foundation support.

    If you get most of your funding from a parent organization, but having been looking into strategies for additional fund-raising  - or if you have been successful in doing this - and are interested/willing/able to participate in a session, please respond to me directly as jkhm116@gmail.com.">jkhm116@gmail.com.
