  • 1.  How to Get a Museum Job published

    Rowman & Littlefield, the partner publisher of the AAM has now published my new book How to Get a Museum Job.  While it is written especially for entry level professions and those wishing to advance their career, it should also help museums in their hiring processes.  When it comes to museum employment "There's many a slip 'twixt the cup and the lip."  Job applicants cannot be too prepared or too realistic.

    Congratulations, Steve! I'm sure it will be a best seller as any and all advice about navigating employment in this sector is subject of much discussion and frustration. I'm looking forward to reading it and I hope you've included tips for how institutions should be responsive to job seekers.
