Our CEO is retiring after 22 years of service. This person was the first CEO of the Oakes Museum and nursed the museum through its infancy and now into its teenage years. The School, which the museum resides under, would like the college to give the CEO Emeritus status upon his retirement. However, the college said Emeritus status is for faculty only and the CEO is not faculty. Are there museums within the AAMG family where Emeritus status has been given on merit alone and not based on faculty status?
