Open Forum

Is your museum on or near a university? Try finding the organization that plans and organized student events for the university. My university called it the University Program Council. Maybe collaborate with them to plan an program or to advertise your event with them. Otherwise, speaking as a recent college graduate, I would say some sort of program that's fun and exciting is the best way to get them involved. Students really don't like book talks or lectures, especially since they have that through class anyway. Something like that.
