Is there a museum in the west that collects important military paraphernalia?

    Hi Dr. Gordon,

Each of the services have a museum system so it would be best to contact the service represented by the military collection.  If the military collection is from a Marine, you may email me with more information.

    Sincerely,

Hi, you now have a great survey of all the military museums in the country. I will recommend the Museum of World War 2 in Natick, Massachusetts, 508-653-1944.

In recent years there was a private museum in Fort Morgan, Colorado that was centered on US military history. The collection was developed from one individual's personal collection of uniforms. It had expanded to included equipment - including tanks and helicopters.  I checked the Fort Morgan Chamber of Commerce website and it notes that  the US Military Historical Museum is located at 404 State Street., It states that visitation of the museum is on an appointment only basis and to call 970-867-5520 to make an appointment.

If this contact information is no longer valid I suggest contacting Marne Jurgemeyer at the City of Fort Morgan Museum. His email is noted as: mjurgemeyer@cityoffortmorgan.com.

    Hope this helps.

The Aerospace Museum of California collects military and civilian uniforms related to aerospace an aviation.  While a majority of our uniforms are US Air Force and its predecessors, from pre WW1 to current, we do have uniforms from all branches of the Armed Forces.
