Hi Polly,
We're currently using EventSpot, which is part of our package with Constant Contact (we use CC for our email newsletter). We've also used Showclix for larger events, though I know they take a cut and have quite a few fees attached. We like them though because they offer purchasing tickets via telephone for some visitors who don't use computers much.
I'd be interested in hearing any other options out there as well!

Subject: Online Ticketing Platforms for Nonprofits
Hello fellow AMMers!
I am researching online ticketing systems for selling tickets to our museum's events. Last time we used Eventbrite and they took a steep cut of our little museum's earnings and so I am looking for a better system. What do you guys use that doesn't charge the buyers heavy transaction fees and doesn't take a big percentage of the sales? I've come across one called Eventbee, has anyone used this? What about Ticketfly, Yapsoday or Brown Paper Tickets? Any advice would be helpful. Thank you!
