  • 1.  searching for archival film footage

    Posted 06-13-2016 02:03 PM

    Dear all,

I am searching for archival footage of a short film from around 1917. It is titled Universal Screen Magazine No. 9. In this film there is footage of my museum's first curator, Edward Fuller Bigelow. I would love to add a digitized version in to our archives and it would be great to see our first curator 'come to life.' I have come up empty-handed through searching various archives and hope that someone on the listserv may have the film in their collections..

Thank you for your time and any assistance anyone can provide.

Try the National Archives, film. They have a Universal newsreel collection.
