  • 1.  Funori for conservation

Have any conservators out there tried using Funori for conservation (it's a Japanese seaweed based product)? It's supposed to be good for plaster as a cleaner, paper as a light adhesive and as a fixative for paintings.

I'd like to hear if anyone has tried it.
    Thanks!

Funori has been used by conservators for some time for specific applications.  The Book and Paper Group of the AIC might be a richer source for info on funori as an adhesive and consolidant - happy to discuss anytime, Peggy
