  • 1.  One Conference One Book

    Posted 02-11-2016 01:14 PM

Are you attending the AAM Conference this May and are you interested in participating in a conference-wide conversation? One Conference, One Book (Thursday, 5/26 2:45:00 PM - 4:00:00 PM) is an opportunity for conference attendees to read a single book, The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, and then to participate in a facilitated small group discussion about the book to grow the conversation about race across our field. The book serves as an excellent opportunity to discuss the conference themes of power, influence and responsibility.

If this is of interest to you, be sure to read the book prior to the conference. And if you can't attend the session, I encourage you to read the book anyway and start a conversation at the conference about it!

    Thanks.
