  • 1.  Altru (Blackbaud) for merchandise sales?

    Good morning colleagues,

    Has anybody had experience using Altru (Blackbaud) for their merchandise sales, managing admissions, and tracking membership sales?  

    If so, can you share your experiences - good, bad, or ugly?  Are there other Point of Sale systems that you can recommend, based on a positive experience - or alternatively, high advise me to avoid?

    I would check out TAM. It is very user friendly and very customizable.

    If you use Raiser's Edge as your database and want to connect sale memberships at your visitor center or entry with your database, I would stay with a Blackbaud product like Altru.
