We are considering offering Spanish gallery tours on a regular basis and are gathering information from others in the field. These tours would be offered free of charge on a specific day either quarterly or monthly for drop-in visitors.
Does your museum offer drop-in tours in languages other than English? If so, how do you promote the tours and who is your typical audience; e.g. local visitors who want to tour in their native language, individuals who are studying the tour language, visitors who are traveling from outside the region, a combination of all three? Who facilitates the tours; e.g. staff who speak the language, volunteers who speak the language, or staff and/or volunteers who tour in English with an interpreter?
