The Cable Natural History Museum of Cable, Wisconsin, is selling its mural depicting aquatic wildlife and plants of the northern woods. As you can see in the attached picture, the mural shows not only the glorious plants and animals of a healthy lake, but also the effects of pollution and alien species invasion, making it educational as well as beautiful.

Each panel illustrates a season -- spring, summer, fall, and winter -- showing lake life at the different times of year. This mural hung in the Museum as the “Lakes Alive” exhibit for the 2015 season and was enjoyed by over 10,000 visitors, but it is now time for us to change our theme for the new year, and we'd love to find this artwork a new home.

The mural is 13 feet tall by 25.5 feet wide, and consists of 4 tall connected panels. It will be available April 1, 2016. The panels can be delivered on their stretcher bars, or can be removed from the bars and rolled for shipping convenience. If the latter, the buyer would need to remount on stretcher bars or glue to a base of some kind at your site. The junctions between panels would need to be filled with construction foam, smoothed with spackle, and repainted on the joints. The original artist is available to do the repainting and consult on the reconstruction process.

The price of this mural is $5200, which includes the attendance of the artist for the remounting process and repainting touchup. Shipping would be additional, and is the responsibility of the buyer.

If your organization is interested in obtaining this mural for your students and clients, we would love to hear from you as soon as possible to discuss shipping procedures and the installation date that would work best for you.
