  • 1.  Have you ever heard of a medical marijuana exhibit?

Has anyone ever developed, attended, or heard of an exhibit on medical marijuana, or marijuana in general?  An acquaintance who works in that industry asked me, and I have not, so I thought I would post here. We are located in Canada, but my friend would be interested in reading about American and International exhibits as well.

    Thanks!

We haven't put any on exhibit yet, but the museum I work for has recently received a number of pot-related donations (Washington legalized marijuana use last year and sales began this year). Here are two articles about it:

We also recently got one of these famous Doritos bags:

Some of these items may be on display when we host American Spirits: The Rise and Fall of Prohibition, a touring exhibition from the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia. Nothing confirmed yet, but we are talking about how we can create a local component or programming that gets people thinking about contemporary issues. So the marijuana story may fit in there!
