At a museum where I used to work, we took a
lot of pictures of our summer camp. We set up a private Flickr account just for camp and then after the first day of each session we sent out the link and password to the account to all campers' parents. Of course, we made sure not to take any pictures of campers whose parents had opted out of having their pictures taken.
It turned out that parents really liked the Flickr account - they were able to see a ton of pictures of what their children had done each day and we were able to share those images without having to print and physically distribute them.

Hi Lesa,
I've never done photo sharing at the museum level, but I know a lot of other businesses that use an account on Flikr or Photobucket.
Good luck,
Steven

Our Development Department is looking for an easy way to quickly share event photos with donors, trustees, etc.
Does anyone use an online service to do this? Our staff photographer suggested Photoshelter, but is seems more like an e-commerce tool.
I welcome any suggestions.
