  • 1.  Seeking Exhibition Planning Models

    Posted 11-17-2016 03:56 PM

    Good Afternoon!

We are looking to refine our exhibition planning process and would love to see examples of exhibition planning processes that other museums have in place. We are looking specifically for resources from art museums but planning process documents from any museum would be welcome as well as any resources related to best practices for collaborative exhibition planning.

    Thank you in advance.

Greetings, The National Museum of Nuclear Science & History has a well developed exhibition creative development policy and process that could be of use to you. It defines many steps in a good scope process. It is not specifically geared to external collaboration but that can be easily added, in fact we often add external persons or teams; we are working with two universities right now on an exhibit about uranium mine waste remediation. If you would like me to forward a copy, please email me at   jwalther@nuclearmuseum.org
