Hi all, I'm looking for co-presenters/organizers for a session on the everyday work of museum educators. We often talk about big, intense projects at conferences and leave with grand ambitions, but I've found that sometimes a small suggestion from a colleague about those everyday, practical details can make an even bigger impact. Rather than a typical PowerPoint presentation, I'm envisioning a series of roundtable discussions centering on a variety of topics. For example, my own work deals with adult public programs, so questions I would have include what other museums' contracts look like, how much a standard honorarium is at your institution, and what your average lecture or gallery talk attendance.
