    Hello Everyone,

I'm working with Historic House Network co-chairs Sue Goganian and Roy Young to propose a panel for the 2017 Annual Meeting on institutional stewardship and parent organizations of historic house museums. This could be a great opportunity for us to share knowledge about the structures of stewardship (financial and/or governance) in place at fellow house museums and historic sites.

We are proposing a talk show session of four participants in a moderated discussion, and we're interested in hearing from our colleagues who work in historic house museums with the following as stewards:

    -college or university
    -municipal, state, federal agency
-art museum or other cultural institution
    -foundation, philanthropist, trust, etc.
-preservation consortiums (Historic New England, Trustees of Reservations).

If your museum is stewarded by one of the above (or another not mentioned), you plan to attend the 2017 Annual Meeting in St. Louis, and are interested in serving as a speaker, please respond to this thread or contact me at rbeaulie@bowdoin.edu, preferably by August 20, 2016. I hope to hear from you!

    All best,
    Becky Beaulieu
