We have used Fed Ex Custom Critical quite a few times. Pros: they are an exclusive use service, they load your crate and go directly to the destination. The company has tracking on the trucks so if they stop for longer than half an hour, dispatch contacts them. They have climate control and are very conscientious about keeping it on point. Cons: they are exclusive so you pay for the whole truck even if you are shipping one small crate. The drivers are not art handlers and, depending on the drivers, will not help load and unload a shipment.
If you don't require exclusive use, try US Art, Atelier 4, Artex, Artemis. All have shuttles.

Hello!
Anyone have experience with Fed Ex's White Glove service to ship museum artifacts? I would like to hear pros and cons of your experience. Or can anyone recommend an alternative for shipping a smallish wooden crate? (21"H x 27.5"W x 18.25"D)
Thanks!
