  • 1.  Ideas for Member Events

    Hi all,

    I was just wondering if anyone had some idea for events to engage their institution's members.  The purpose of the events is to enhance member connection to the organization by giving them special treatment and providing information on the work we accomplish outside of our walls.  We've had success at our aquarium with "Member Morning Coffees" featuring light refreshments, an animal presentation and coloring sheets/ crafts for kids.  Attendance to our events has grown and we're on the horizon of having 500+ members at an event, so we're looking to increase the scope of the event programming.   We of course have budget and staffing restrictions for these events, so creativity around those factors is a must. Any ideas?

    We are attempting to grow our membership and are interested in new and creative ways to engage our members.  I would be interested in member events as well
