Lucia Capacchione, Ph. D. (Workshop)
In this workshop, Lucia Capacchione, PhD, ATR, REAT, will present The Creative Journal Method, which she originated in the 1970s while struggling with a life-threatening condition. Using imagery and words as well as non-dominant hand drawing and writing, The Creative Journal process opens communication between the verbal/logical and the emotional/visual/sensory areas of the brain. Dr. Capacchione will cover theory and ground rules of the Creative Journal Method as well as the wide variety of applications over the last 35 years (since the publication of her first book.
