  • 1.  Need a Mentor?

Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we've been waiting for.
We are the change that we seek.
                                                                                               Barack Obama

Over the course of my career, I've been lucky enough to have some tremendous mentors. Several years ago I decided to pay it forward, and expand my own professional networks, and create change in the field, by developing my own mentor program.  Hard to believe that it's now in its fourth year!

Check out my post at The Uncataloged Museum on how to apply for a year's worth of conversation, questions, and informal learning as we work to move our careers--and our field--in new directions.

I look forward to hearing from you!

    Best,

    Linda

Wow, I am definitely going to put my name in. I would love a mentor. Thank you for this opportunity!

    Hi All,

I am fairly new to the world of Museums and the nuances that the people 'upstairs' have to deal with. I would like to know more about 'business'.

I have given tours, written a grant proposals, and currently work the retail side.

It would be great to be able to work with a mentor from time to time.
