    Good Morning,

Has anyone heard of this organization and knows if it is a legit organization? I've never heard of them and my supervisor was looking into them.

Yes, the organization started in 1996 to educate and provide specific informational opportunities to cultural institutions. The group is made up of individuals from large and small museums, historic homes,  libraries and zoos from around the country. Unlike many conferences you are assured to walk away with tools you can use today and connections that will help you tomorrow.

    Hi Sarah,

Yes, they are a legitimate organization based in Denver.  We have had our head of security attend their national conference and have had our security team trained using their onsite workshops.  They are great for museum/collections-specific security training.

    Best,

    Becky
