Applications to join Modern and Contemporary Museums (aka Mod/Co) reciprocal benefits program are due by October 2.
More than 10 years ago, at the request of our donors, The Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago (MCA) began a reciprocal membership program designed specifically to promote relationships among the generous supporters of contemporary and modern arts museums nationwide. Since its inception, the program continues to grow with 54 institutions participating.
This opportunity only comes once every two years, so we hope you will consider joining. The 2014-15 Mod/Co season is rapidly coming to a close, and the opportunity to join for the 2016-17 season is now available to your institution. We’re very excited to kick off the new season and introduce new museums into Mod/Co.
Museums participating in the Modern and Contemporary Reciprocal Program (Mod/Co) agree to mutually extend basic onsite membership benefits to visiting higher-level members from other participating institutions. Specifics included in the application form, attached.
The deadline for participation is Friday, October 2, 2015. If you have questions, please contact memberservices@mcachicago.org or call 312.397.4040 before the deadline in order to be included for 2016-2017.
