We are in the process of hiring a new development officer that reports to the VP of Development and a new membership coordinator that reports to the Director of Sales and Events. Both positions meet the salary thresholds of exempt status but the duties are a bit harder to determine if they fall in this classification or non-exempt status. Other museums post these positions as exempt in our community. I am wondering how you classify these positions?
