I'm in the process of developing a 3D exhibit for an archaeological site in Italy - the artifacts cannot be moved off-site and the site is not open to the public and lacks a brick-and-mortar museum. At this point an online exhibit is the most effective way to share the dig's findings with students, local populations, donors, and so on.
I'm curious what peoples' experiences have been with online exhibits, and if anyone here has used 3D models/photogrammetry to document their collections.
