The Cleveland Museum of Art (CMA) is conducting exploratory research on the needs of our online audiences and wants to benefit from your expertise! We are seeking a few savvy social media museum professionals to participate in a Facebook discussion group, moderated by the CMA's Office of Research and Evaluation. We are hoping to gain a more holistic understanding about the role of museums in the social media landscape.
What would be expected of me?
All that we ask is that you contribute to the discussion! Our research team has been gathering quantitative data about our online fans/followers and asking them for feedback over the past few weeks. We are planning to use this information to help spark ideas and get the conversations flowing, but are also interested in hearing about all of the things that fascinate/confuse/annoy/excite you when thinking about social media and museums.
How do I join?
Requesting to join is easy! Just click here and request to join our Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/ResearchOnMuseumsAndSocialMedia/
What will I get out of this?
All individuals who actively participate in discussions will receive a copy of the CMA's findings upon the completion of this study in March, 2015.
Please be advised:
To make the conversations slightly more manageable we are limiting group membership to the first 25 social media museum professionals who ask to join.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!
