Discovery Park of America opened in rural Union city, Tennessee, they expected 150,000 visitors but were shortened 120,000. .. Discovery Park CEO Jim Rippy said about 270,000 have visited since it opened Nov. 1, 2013. Attendance may top 300,00 by the end of 2014."
