Hello Fellow Museum Professionals,

My name is Jennifer Watts.  As part of my studies at Tennessee State University, I am currently working on a research project looking at how the implementation of volunteer programs can benefit museums.  I have created a 21-question survey to assess the current status of volunteer programs within the field, the roles volunteers play, staff and volunteer relations, training opportunities, and benefits volunteers received from their work with our organizations.  I’d like to hear from you about your volunteer program, or your lack of one, to help with this assessment.  I’d like to hear from organizations of all shapes and sizes across the country.  Please share with your network.  My hope is to get a diverse group of responses.  Your contributions to this study will be greatly appreciated.  I can’t do it without you.
