I have to be an old fuddy-dud and say if it's newer tech, it will eventually break. I don't even like dimmers on the system. It's more work to hand-touch each fixture, but it's less likely to break, blink, or waiver. That said, if you're working with 25' ceilings or can't get a ladder or lift into a location, maybe newer tech could be a great solution.
What problem are you solving by going with Casambi? What are the upsides and downsides of using the system?

Subject: Smart Lighting - Anyone Using Casambi Smart Lighting Control?
Does anyone use the Casambi app to control their smart lighting in their galleries?
I am working with a lighting designer who would like to incorporate it into a gallery project, but I haven't had great experience with it at another institution.... It could have been the Ledra brand fixtures, or the electrical being wonky, but I wanted to know if others have had problems with the software (like lights not responding, the lighting scenes not going completely on/off, etc). It's tempting to use it given the price (free), but I'm a bit skeptical. Any thoughts?
