Wow... very interesting.  the .com may be of concern to most museums that are 501(c)(3), non-profit corporations (.org)... but have you contacted the Ireland's Great Hunger Museum... now becoming the Ireland's Great Hunger Museum of Fairfield, CT?  They lost their home and are now on track to re-open in a new location.

    Here's their web address:

    Hi,Vivian--

Many thanks! We have not contacted that organization. But indeed we shall.

FYI.   TPM was created as a 501c3, non profit, in the 1980s, though the collection was first established in 1975.

    Cheers, Meredith

Hi--We do know of it--in fact some of the signage from an exhibition we did with the Museum of Science and Technology in Ottawa way back in the 90s,The Amazing Potato, was sent to the PEI Museum. We will reach out to them about selling the collection. Yes! Thanks,Meredith

Hi, Evelyn. It appears this project is primarily aimed at the spud's history in New Brunswick, but hey, maybe Potato World would be interested in widening their focus by buying this global collection. Many tks!  Cheers, Meredith
