I am the American representative to the international Corpus of Etruscan Mirrors (Corpus Speculorum Etruscorum), whose mission is to publish scientifically all known Etruscan and Praenestine mirrors.  This is a pretty cool specialty, because the bronze mirrors have beautiful engravings with scenes from mythology and daily life, and are of interest for what they reveal about Etruscan society, rituals, religion, economy.   Estimates are that there are more than 3000 total known in the world.  The international committee is studying materials in museums in Italy, Great Britain, Germany, etc.

Our American team has published most of the known ones in the USA in 6 fascicles.  We are now preparing the final fascicle and we want to make sure that there are no more mirrors out there.  So we compiled the attached list of all the museums we know of that have these mirrors.  If you know of a museum or collection that has an Etruscan mirror but is NOT on this list, please let me know?  We wish to include it in this final fascicle.
