Hello all,
I am new to Museum Junction, so please forgive me if this is not an appropriate topic for this forum.
I am preparing our collections for the move to our new facility -- I have about 3-1/2 years because we haven't broken ground yet.
In the meantime, we are right-sizing our collections and ensuring that we are only retaining objects that directly support our mission, since we focus on our regional history.
Is there a convenient forum to communicate with other collections managers to let them know what I have available and discover places interested in obtaining our deaccessions? We are seeking only scholarly transfers as disposition options (i.e., no possible way we will consider selling any collections objects, I'm just looking for other museums who would like to add these objects to their collections).
