register for the 2024 Greenfire?? January Mini-Retreat, an online writing retreat I???m hosting January 20 and 21, 2024 (attend either or both days--your choice)!
The Greenfire January Mini-Retreat is a different kind of writing retreat. It combines museum, heritage site, and other online exhibits with prompts, exercises, and ideas to stoke your creative fire and support your writing.
About a week before our retreat days, you???ll receive an information packet with links to inspiring, intriguing, and thought-provoking online exhibits to explore ahead of time. This year takes us to far flung sites including Japan, the British Isles, and Colorado???s high country, with stories that span millennia.
The day before each retreat day, you???ll receive an email with writing prompts and other ideas to play with during the retreat.
On each retreat day, we gather as a group on Zoom for 2 sessions: one longer session earlier in the day, and a shorter one later in the day, with a long break in between. Each session includes time to write, share, create, explore, and write some more in a warm, welcoming community.
If you???ve been debating whether to hibernate or write, do both! Come to the Greenfire January Mini-Retreat in your PJs. Stay wrapped in a blanket, sipping tea by the fire, all while visiting online exhibits, recharging your creativity, and writing!
This retreat is open to all levels of writers and all genres (including interpretive writing).
